A busy start to the new year. We have been touching up the paintwork and now looking to spruce up the patio area ready for spring. Watch this space a lovely new plant stall arrives selling all your bedding needs as well as those special floral treats for friends and family.

Santa's Sensory Trail & Grotto

Santa will be arriving at his grotto this year at 5.30pm on Wedenesday 3rd December

This year it includes a sensory trail to inspire your little ones imaginations.

New Year and loads new happening at Miss Mabel's our new website is up and running.

Most of the decorations are up now, although we await the very exciting grotto arriving on 2nd December with regular visits from The Man himself! So we are pretty much ready for Christmas. A big advantage of running Mabel's is I have such a great selection of gifts to choose from- all my shopping under one roof! Sorry I know the picture is not a Christmassy one!

Loads of fun at the Vintage day today, we loved dressing up and helped raise lots of money for St Peter and St James hospice.

It has been lovely to see our workshop area being used for vintage girls birthday party. They had a clotted cream tea and juice served in vintage tea pots and cups and saucers. Wonder how we can make the Peppa Pig party booked in October be as sophisticated??

Well I can't believe it's over 2 months in. It has been a roller coaster setting up, but we have made huge progress. We have over 80 stalls now, 'Beyond the fringe' has been making quite a snip! and our latest addition of a whole craft and scrapbooking shop is fantastic. Over the next few weeks the new engraving service will be up and running and we have a wide range of workshops and activities on our calender (make sure you book these). Everyone seems to have loved the garden which has been great for those leisurly afternoon cream teas. Keep watching for lots of updates over the coming weeks. Emma xx

We are up and running and have been madly busy!

Update:

Although it still looks like a building site, things are coming along nicely, ready for our imminent opening. Our last day of trading at the current Mabel's Building is on Saturday 1st June, so pop down for a last nostalgic cuppa. We then start trading again in the new building 10 Victoria Way (next to Wickes) on Wednesday 5th June. Our official opening by Call the Midwife's Judy Parfitt will take place on Saturday 8th June. Followed by a day of activities and fun.

Mabel's is Growing!

Very exciting news, Mabel's is moving and getting bigger! In the 8th June I (Emma Haward) will be taking over the running of Mabel's and giving Julie a much needed rest. We are moving to 10 Victoria Way a great location just up the road. There is lots of work to be done to the new place and hope you will enjoy our updates over the next few weeks. Last day of trading at this building will be June 1st and new building opening day is for June 5th. Ambitious, but we can do it. Come in and chat if you want a stall or to rent a workshop space Xxx

Mabel's a great shopping experience

Mabel's is a lovely shopping experience, with over 70 unique stalls selling a variety of new and vintage items. Onsite also we have 'Beyond the Fringe' our fantastic hairdresser & a very popular nail bar.  The great tea room as always is serving fresh homemade food.
